From December 25 to 26, 2021, the 2nd Sustainable Materials Forum (Susmat Annual Academic Conference) was held in Chengdu. China Tianying was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech as one of the three representative companies.
The forum is co-organized by Susmat, an academic journal produced by Wang Qi and his team at Sichuan University. Focusing on the frontiers and hot spots of research in the field of sustainable materials, Susmat is an academic exchange platform led by 22 domestic and foreign academicians and a total of 35 scholars as editorial board members, and has a high influence in the field of materials science.
The forum focused on clean energy, green catalysis, environmentally friendly materials, pollution control, and applied technologies. More than 310 scholars attended the forum, including Qu Jiuhui and Yue Guojun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Li Yongfang and Ma Yuguang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yang Jun of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Sun Shuhui of the Royal Canadian Academy of Sciences. In addition, the forum also invited 63 professors from 46 universities and research institutions in China, including Tsinghua University and Peking University, to present 65 reports including two special reports by female scientists. Related fields include photovoltaic, hydrogen energy, zinc materials, solid waste utilization, robotics and smart manufacturing.
Currently, CNTY and Wang Qi's team are carrying out industry-academy collaboration. In view of CNTY's business and strength, the forum specially invited CNTY to attend the event. Han Dan, vice president of CNTY's Design Institute, gave a speech on CNTY's Solid Waste Recycling Solution, introducing the technology and project experience of CNTY in fields of new materials, new energy, smart equipment manufacturing and solid waste utilization.
During the event, CNTY consulted the participating academicians and scholars on the construction of the new materials platform and received positive feedbacks. Many experts spoke highly of CNTY's new materials platform, and the development strategy of "environmental protection + new energy" is highly compatible with the national trend. Establishing a new materials award system is not only an encouragement to the researchers, but also an effective attempt to make breakthroughs in the industry's key and core technologies. Yang Jun, academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering, especially expressed his willingness to support the construction of this platform and appreciated the strategy of CNTY.
The forum is not only an exchange platform for professionals from the field of materials science, but also presents great progress that new materials technologies have made. It has provided CNTY with technical directions and reference for the construction of new materials platform.
