On 23 March 2023, China Tianying(CNTY) and Jiangsu Coast Development Group signed an investment agreement to develop the fishery and photovoltaic symbiosis project at Ling Yang Farm in Rudong County, with more than 6,000 mu of land to be used for the construction of photovoltaic power plants, with a capacity of 400MW.
At the signing ceremony, Lu Ping, Vice President of CNTY, and Hu Guoping, Chairman of Coast Investment Company, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
At the meeting, Hu Guoping introduced the significant progress made by the teams from both sides to work together to promote the fishery and PV project at Ling Yang Farm since the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation on 21 February 2023.
Yan Shengjun, Chairman of CNTY, said that CNTY will take this signing as a new starting point and fully fulfill its responsibilities in accordance with the agreement; at the same time, this project will be a new opportunity to deepen cooperation with the coast development group in new energy and other fields in a broader scope.
Zhou Jinyang, General Manager of Coast Develoment Group, expressed his appreciation for the business layout and management concept of CNTY, saying that the group is committed to promoting the development of the energy and carbon industry and is confident to deepen the partnership with CNTY and accelerate the project process with the support of the government; and expects both parties to continue to bring into play their respective resource endowments and push the partnership up to more levels and wider areas.
Chen Huiyu, Party Secretary of Rudong County, affirmed the progress of both sides and the prospect of cooperation, expecting both sides to have firm confidence and sincere cooperation to quickly advance the project construction, while further expanding the cooperation space; Rudong County Government and Yangkou Town Government will create the best service environment and the most efficient service efficiency for the project, and create a new industrial highlight in Rudong.
The successful signing of this investment agreement marks another new achievement in CNTY's new energy business, and is a successful example of the company's "environmental protection + new energy" dual-engine strategy, which will further enrich CNTY's new energy industry layout in the coastal region and continue to help achieve the national carbon goals!
