On December 26th, China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA) issued a notice (CNESA [2023] No.19), announcing that the Standard T/CNESA 1205-2023 Technical Specifications for Grid Connection and Protection of Gravity Energy Storage Systems Based on Synchronous Motors was formally released and took effect right after. China Tianying (CNTY) participated in the formulation of this Standard.
Drawing on CNTY's accumulated technical and practical experience, the T/CNESA 1205-2023 Technical Specifications for Grid Connection and Protection of Gravity Energy Storage Systems Based on Synchronous Motors define the technical specifications for such aspects as grid connection control, operation management and safety protection of gravity energy storage systems (GESS) based on synchronous motors. The Standard not only provides clear technical guidance for the design, construction and operation of GESS projects, but helps enhance their safety and stability, boosting the technological progress and industrial upgrading in this field.
The release of this Standard marks CNTY's new major breakthrough in GESS technologies. Its profound R&D strengths and rich project experience make it well positioned to formulate comprehensive and practical technical specifications for the industry, standardizing and promoting the development of GESS grid connection and protection technologies. Looking ahead, CNTY will continue its efforts in boosting the R&D and application of GESS technologies, to make greater contributions to the global environmental protection and new energy sectors.
