Wu Changshan, a transfer station operator of Suqian Yinghuan, has been working in the company since the establishment of the company. He works diligently and conscientiously, and is well recognised by leaders and colleagues. Now 56-year-old Wu raises a pair of children on his own, the youngest child still attending primary school. Wu is the only source of income for the family, and his life has been extremely difficult.
A storm may arise from a clear sky. On the night of 2 December, Wu was struck by acute intracranial haemorrhage, and was sent to the hospital for emergency operation. The only pillar of the family collapsed.
After learning the news, Shi Pengcheng immediately issued a donation initiative and took the lead to donate. All levels of management and staff have reached out to help, through cash, WeChat transfer, and public fundraising platform to raise money.
At the same time, Shi Pengcheng reported the news to Hua Haiyan, vice president of CNTY, and Chen Zhendong, assistant general manager of Jiangsu Tianying Environmental Services. The situation received high attention. Hua Haiyan stresses that the company should give instant support and help to Wu, accompanying him during this difficult time, strengthen his determination to overcome the disease, and letting employees feel the warmth of being a member of CNTY’s big family.
The condolence and donation not only brought hope and warmth to Wu Changshan's family, but also let everyone in CNTY feel the company's strong humanistic touch.
