On 15 May 2024, Xu Chengzhi, VP of CNTY, and Liu Chunyang, Director of Foreign Affairs of CNTY, paid a visit to H.E. Dato' Norman Muhamad, the Malaysian Ambassador to China, in the Malaysian Embassy with the participation of Minister Counsellor Lam Yook Choi, First Secretary Elisa Marie Paul, and Cheng Tianyu, Foreign Affairs Manager of CNTY.
Xu Chengzhi greeted Ambassador Muhamad and introduced CNTY on its development in the field of environmental protection and new energy and its long-term friendship with the Malaysian Embassy. He said that Malaysia is a very important market for CNTY, and that CNTY is willing to further deepen the friendly relationship with Malaysia and actively explore cooperation opportunities in renewable energy, wind & solar generation, waste treatment and other environmental and energy fields. Xu also invited Ambassador Muhamad to visit CNTY's headquarters in Hai’an and Beijing office at his convenience.

Ambassador Muhamad welcomed the visit of CNTY. He introduced that waste to energy has a broad market prospect in Malaysia, and he welcomed CNTY to bring advanced technology and carry out waste to energy projects and harbour construction projects there.
On 31st May, VP Xu Chengzhi and Foreign Affairs Director Liu Chunyang were invited to attend the 50th Anniversary of China-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations Reception event, which was co-organised by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing. Mr Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, and Mr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development of Malaysia, attended the reception and delivered speeches.
