To promote the spirit of labor and craftsmanship, create a culture of respect for labor and a dedication to excellence, and celebrate the upcoming International Labor Day, the Lianjiang County Federation of Trade Unions held a "Celebrating Labor Beauty" worker cultural performance and "Lianjiang Craftsmen" award ceremony at the county Workers' Cultural Palace on the morning of April 28th. Following the recommendation, application, preliminary review, online voting, and selection committee evaluation, Fuzhou Tianying Vice General Manager Ji Zengchun and Production Technology Department Vice Manager Li Linqing were awarded the honorary title of "Lianjiang Craftsmen."
Chen Qin, member of the Standing Committee of the Lianjiang County Committee and Vice County Governor, and Xie Qizhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions, attended the event. About 280 people, including Fuzhou Tianying employees, Lianjiang labor model representatives, "Lianjiang Craftsmen" and nominated craftsmen selection units, literary and art associations, basketball associations, badminton associations, table tennis associations, grassroots trade union representatives, and others participated in the event.
With exciting music, the folk music ensemble "May Day Drums" kicked off the performance. The show included worker-favored performances such as song medleys, dance, instrumental ensembles, calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting demonstrations, and comic dialogues. The performances were rich and varied, and the audience was enthusiastic, cheering and applauding, pushing the atmosphere to new heights.
After the performance, the "Lianjiang Craftsmen" award ceremony officially began. During the ceremony, Chen Qin congratulated the people who won the "Lianjiang Craftsmen" and "Lianjiang Craftsmen" nomination awards, and extended holiday greetings to cadres, workers, and laborers from all walks of life in the county. He stated that the county is at a critical stage of starting a new journey of "14th Five-Year Plan" development and socialist modernization construction. Achieving high-quality development in Lianjiang requires millions of high-quality professional and technical personnel and the "craftsmanship spirit." The county's workers should consciously shoulder the new mission given by the new era, take a new role as masters, create excellence with tenacious spirit, and seek new development with innovative actions, creating new achievements for the county. The leaders present then presented certificates and trophies to 20 "Lianjiang Craftsmen" and 5 nominees, including Ji Zengchun and Li Linqing.
The spirit of the craftsman is embodied in the work. Both Ji Zengchun and Li Linqing stated that they will always uphold the spirit of the craftsman in the new era, taking on the responsibility of being at the forefront, dedicating themselves to work without fear of hardship, persisting in pursuing excellence, being steadfast and focused, and exploring innovative actions, to contribute to the development of the company and the industry.
