On March 30, the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) released the Notice on Issuing the List of Demonstration Projects Featuring Advanced Green and Low-carbon Technologies (First Batch). The 100MWh Gravity Energy Storage System (GESS) Demonstration Project submitted by Rudong Nengying Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd was included in the List.
As a key fruit of the Advanced Green and Low-Carbon Technology Demonstration Project Implementation Program jointly launched by China's ten departments including the NDRC, this List was compiled to expedite the promotion and application of advanced green and low-carbon technologies via the driving role of demonstration projects, thus ultimately boosting the green and low-carbon development.
The inclusion of the Rudong GESS Project in the List reflects high recognition of CNTY's R&D innovation, application promotion and commercialization of GESS technologies, and demonstrates CNTY's active response to China's green and low-carbon strategy and solid efforts to promote the high-quality development of the new energy sector. Going forward, CNTY will keep propelling the innovation and development of the new energy sector with continued R&D and application of GESS technologies, and also actively engage in exchanges and cooperation on green and low-carbon technologies worldwide, so as to facilitate the realization of China's carbon goals, while delivering solutions for transforming the global energy mix and addressing the climate change challenge.
