CNTY Chairman Yan Shengjun Met with BV Executive VP Surachet Tanwongsval

On the afternoon of September 27, 2024, CNTY Chairman Yan Shengjun met with the delegation from Bureau Veritas (BV) led by Surachet Tanwongsval, Executive Vice President CIF Asia Pacific, at CNTY's headquarters in Hai'an. The two sides reached broad consensus on further deepening their strategic collaboration for promoting the green certification and global trade of products such as hydrogen, ammonia and methanol.

Chairman Yan warmly welcomed the delegation. During the exchange, he underscored CNTY's unwavering commitment to internationalization in its environmental protection business, expecting strengthened bilateral cooperation in expanding and enhancing overseas operations in alignment with ESG principles. In the new energy sector, CNTY's integrated energy projects feature rapid development, large scale, and advanced technology. Building on the current project collaboration, the two parties are expected to fortify the strategic partnership and continually refine the long-term, efficient communication mechanism.

Executive VP Surachet expressed his gratitude for the hospitality extended by Chairman Yan. He commended CNTY for its impressive achievements in overseas markets and the new energy sector, and its distinct advantages in new energy storage and intelligent energy management technologies. He particularly highlighted the extensive application prospects and market potential of green products from the projects. BV stands ready to leverage its strengths in forward-looking research, international collaboration, and green finance, among others, to synergize with CNTY's resources, thus to continually empower CNTY's integrated businesses across the industrial chain.

Since the signing of an MoU between CNTY and BV in Paris, France on June 3 this year, the two sides have been actively consolidating their comprehensive strategic partnership. With BV's support, CNTY is poised to become the first Chinese company to obtain ISCC EU certification across the full green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol industry chain, facilitating exports of green products from the company's integrated projects. The two parties view the consensus reached in this meeting as a new opportunity, to persistently boost sustainability-oriented international cooperation, and contribute to global efforts in reducing carbon emissions with their green solutions.

The meeting was attended by CNTY Director and VP Tu Haihong, VP Yang Jing, Deputy Chief Engineer Han Dan, and BV Senior VP Han Jing, Senior VP Yang Qimei, and VP Sebastian Buca.
